Surface Preparation

All mineral substrates must be free of eorescence, laitance, grease, form release oils and similar contaminants. Chalked or poorly bound substrates must be penetrated with suitable sealer or RAK Bond PVA. The surface must be clean and dry.

Application

Mix well and apply the paste with trowel or filling knife. Apply the filler in a thin even layer and allow drying. Apply second coat, if necessary to achieve full levelling. Do not add water or any thinning materials. Light sand paper over the dry final surface before painting preferably within 24 hours of application. Thickness of each single layer should not exceed 800 microns in application, otherwise will result in cracking upon drying.

Caution

Do not use to fill large cracks, holes or damaged surface On dry & large surface area, sprinkle or wet the surface before the application.

  • The surface must be sound.
  • Newly constructed surface should be allowed to cure for at least 21 days.

Health & Safety

As with all chemical products, caution should always be exercised. Protective clothing, such as gloves and goggles, should be worn (see packaging for specific instructions). Treat any splashes to the skin or eyes with fresh water immediately. Should any of the product be accidentally swallowed, do not induce vomiting but call for medical assistance immediately. Ensure the container is available for the medical attendant to examine any relevant instructions and contents details. Reseal all containers after use and ensure product is stored as instructed on the safety section of the labelling.
