RAKAM Latex Sealer

A high-quality, general-purpose insulating priming sealer, specially formulated as a primary coat for emulsion paint systems indoors & outdoors, to penetrate, seal, and block the absorption of very porous surfaces and to bond the dust that cannot be brushed away.

Surface Preparation

The surface should be sound, dry and clean, free from dirt, oil, grease, and loose paint, or powdery materials…

A. Old Painted Surfaces

  1. Remove the old paint as much as possible.
  2. Sand the entire surface and remove all the dust.
  3. Wash down with Ammonia Water Solution.
  4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
  5. Prime the surface to be painted with RAKAM Primer Sealer or RAKAM Latex Sealer.
  6. Fill cracks and holes with RAKAM Wall Putty or Acrylic Filler.
  7. After drying, sand the putty and clean the surface once again.
  8. Apply two coats of RAKAM Interior Emulsion.

A. New Surfaces

  1. Sand the surface until completely smooth, remove all the dust.
  2. Prime the surface to be painted with RAKAM Primer Sealer or RAKAM Latex Sealer.
  3. Apply 1-2 Coats of RAKAM Wall Putty or RAKAM Acrylic Filler.
  4. After drying, sand the putty and clean the surface.
  5. Apply two coats of RAKAM Interior Emulsion.

Remarks

  • Stir well before use…
  • Avoid application below 5 °C or over 85% relative humidity.
  • After using, clean the application tools immediately with water.
