Surface Preparation
The surface should be sound, dry and clean, free from dirt, oil, grease, and loose paint, or powdery materials…
A. Old Painted Surfaces
- Remove the old paint as much as possible.
- Sand the entire surface and remove all the dust.
- Wash down with Ammonia Water Solution.
- Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
- Prime the surface to be painted with Rakam Primer Sealer or Rakam Latex Sealer.
- Fill cracks and holes with Rakam Wall Putty or Rakam Acrylic Filler.
- After drying, sand the putty and clean the surface once again.
- Apply two coats of Rakam – Tex Coarse
A. New Surfaces
- Sand the surface until completely smooth, removes all the dust.
- Prime the surface to be painted with Rakam Primer Sealer or Rakam Latex Sealer. Rakam Apply 1-2 Coats of Rakam Wall Putty or Rakam Acrylic Filler.
- After drying, sand the putty and clean the surface.
- Apply one coat of Rakam -Tex Coarse.

Remarks
- Stir well before use…
- Avoid application below 5 °C or over 85% relative humidity.
- After using, clean the application tools immediately with water.
